MALA announces events with No 5 Barristers Chambers & St Philips Chambers
In collaboration with two of the largest and most well-known chambers in the Midlands, MALA has planned two great professional development events in Birmingham & Leicester. All are welcome to RSVP through our events page.
On 6 September, in a morning seminar, barristers from No 5 Barristers Chambers will look at non-court dispute resolution across the family law spectrum at a time where alternative dispute resolution in family law has come into the spotlight.
On 19 September, in an evening seminar, barristers from St Philips Chambers will look at the Equality Act and conflicts between protected characteristics and with the obligation to provide education and services in a non-discriminatory manner. Given the recent protests concerning the Equality Act in the city, this will be an interesting event.
Both events include refreshments and feature specialist counsel with recognised experience in their fields of expertise. MALA is delighted to collaborate with both sets and to organise two further events in Birmingham, taking the tally of professional development events in our favourite city to four this year and four in Leicester as well!
