If you are interested in helping with our programmes, you must be a practicing solicitor or barrister to help deliver the workshops but anyone working within the legal profession, in any role, is welcome to help. 

 

If you wish to volunteer, please provide your details below.

 

Volunteers must:

• Agree to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide MALA with a copy of the certificate for the school

• Be able to attend the college or school in question; this will be in Birmingham and within 3 miles of the city centre; MALA will reimburse travel expenses

• Be able to spare 3 hours of the day in the morning or afternoon and agree to complete an hour of preparation (which is very straight-forward)

• Agree to photographs being taken of them to be used on this website or generally by MALA

• Attend a short training session which will be arranged outside working hours

 

 

All programmes will be delivered with a lawyer from MALA and you will be fully supported throughout.

 

At this stage, this programme is in the planning stage and once dates are finalised we will arrange an introduction and training.
