The 2019 Mala Ball comes to an end & we are still counting the money raised for charity
A huge thanks to all our guests who came tonight. It was a marvellous evening with a great speech from our special guest Lord Justice Singh, the first BAME judge to be appointed to the Court of Appeal. MALA was delighted to announce that its Ball's ticket sales generated £6,000 for charity; with £3,000 for our supported charity, True Honour and another £3,000 for Midland Langar Seva Society.
In addition, we expect a further £2,000 or more to be raised from the silent auction and raffle, held for True Honour. A fantastic amount of money raised in just one night from the generosity of lawyers who supported MALA and these good causes.
MALA will upload its pictures from the Ball as soon as we can wake the photographer up from his exhausting night!
