On behalf of our President, HHJ Afzal CBE, and the MALA Committee, we would like to share the news that our Secretary, Priya Bakshi, has stepped down from her role.
Priya's resignation marks a significant moment for MALA. Her contribution to the organisation over the years has been invaluable, and she leaves behind a lasting legacy built on commitment, professionalism and a genuine passion for supporting the legal community.
Reflecting on her contribution, HHJ Afzal CBE said:
“Priya's energy, commitment and hard work to MALA is unmatched. As Secretary she kept us organised, led the arrangements for the Ball for many years and has been a driving force behind MALA's current success.
Priya's service to MALA will always be appreciated, she leaves with our thanks and immense gratitude.”
Priya has been a valued member of the MALA committee, someone who has always been willing to give her time and support to others. While she may be stepping down from her official position, we are pleased that she will continue to be part of the MALA community, and we look forward to welcoming her at future events.
