About the event
MALA's Annual Ball is legendary. Taking place every year since 2005, it is an institution on the Midlands Circuit. Every year, over 550 solicitors, barristers and judges celebrate the achievement of Asian lawyers and the diversity of the legal profession at Athena.
Every year, MALA is honoured to receive a guest speaker from the judiciary to share their insight and experience. In 2018, Her Honour Judge Dhir QC spoke to a sold out venue.
This year's lead sponsor is De Montfort University and Lord Justice Singh will be the special guest speaker.
Ticket sales will support MALA's chosen charities: True Honour, supporting victims of honour-based violence, and Midland Langar Seva Society, which provides food & support to homeless people.
