MALA is committed to widening access to the legal profession, in particular, by improving knowledge of and access to the legal profession for BME students at schools and colleges. MALA has developed an interactive programme to target state schools in inner city areas to encourage students to conider the legal profession as a career. The programme seeks to build confidence, promote work as a lawyer and develop those skills required to succeed in the legal profession. MALA volunteers its time and meets the expenses of volunteers. The programme is for schools and colleges.
