Midlands Asian Lawyers Association & Leicestershire Law Society are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the 100 Years of Women in Law celebratory dinner.

The celebratory dinner will include a 3 course meal and our keynote speakers: Lady Justice Macur DBE and Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb DBE.

District Judge Fayyaz Afzal OBE, President of MALA said, “I am proud we are co-hosting this event to highlight the significant achievements of inspirational women in the legal profession.”

Glynis Wright, President of LLS commented “This is a golden opportunity for the legal and business community of Leicestershire to come together to celebrate the role that culturally diverse female lawyers are making to our profession today – 100 years on after the 1919 Act removed the barrier to  women becoming lawyers.

The event will be held at the Empire in Leicester on Friday 1st November, with tickets now on sale!
